Kissimmee Child Care Center Early Learning Goals
As Kissimmee child care professionals we know that a child’s first years are particularly determinative in the child’s success in school, relationships and life.
Successfully preparing your child for Kindergarten in Kissimmee is the goal for our Preschool Program. One of the most effective ways a preschooler learns is to explore through hands-on activities. FCA’s Pre-K mission is to ignite the love of learning in all children so they may reach their highest potential. We want to introduce and familiarize your child with the types of schedules and routines they will find when they get to Kindergarten. For example, one of the biggest transitions for children is the increase in whole class instruction (teacher led instruction). To get the child ready, your Pre-K child will participate in full group settings that are similar to what they will experience next year.
FCA’s Preschool Program supports active exploration and hands-on learning activities. The Program’s focus is to help children develop confidence in their ability to learn. Our highly trained teachers create fun and rewarding activities that reflect each child’s developmental needs according to each age group. When children have a variety of choices in an organized environment, they learn at their best. FCA focuses on learning experiences that stimulate and challenge your child each and every day. Our classrooms include materials and activities that promote a child’s fine- and gross-motor skills, and that aid their intellectual curiosity.

FCA offers Kissimmee day care services for babies and toddlers. The staff is highly trained and caring. The facilities of our day care in Kissimmee and staff comply with the rules and regulations of the Florida State Department of Education. Babies and toddlers from 0 to 2 years old are well taken care of in a safe, colorful and playful environment. The day begins with circle time, which includes worship and body movement with music. The day is structured with a daily routine, which is essential for creating a sense of security and well being in the children.
Toddlers (2 – 3 year olds)
Our Kissimmee Childcare for toddlers 2 to 3 years old promotes active exploration and hands on learning. Children have a diversity of fun, educational centers to choose from (dramatic play, music, art, cozy, and manipulative.)
K-3 (3 – 4 year olds)
Our K -3 uses a faith base curriculum (Pathways for Preschool). This curriculum promotes activities that encourage social and language development, as well as the strengthening of gross and fine motor skills. Additionally there are monthly themes to explore colors, shapes and nursery rhymes; while crafts and manipulative learning resources are used to enhance your child’s educational experience.
Every day begins with circle time, a time of worship, singing, and learning the days of the week, the weather, and other early learning concepts.
